BLOCK OF THE MONTH PROGRAM Party of Twelve (90”x90”), a nine month block of the month program, uses Judie Rothermel’s new line of 1800s fabrics. Madder reds, indigoes, chrome yellows, poison greens, double pinks and other colors were used prominently in the 1800s, resulting in vibrant, lively quilts that would brighten any room. Each month for 9 months, you’ll make a section of the quilt and you’ll receive a mini history lesson about that month’s featured color. If you find traditional applique too intimidating, we’re also offering the option of pre-fused, laser cut shapes for the applique elements. A $15 registration fee will be refunded on when you pick up your last block. The cost is $23 a month for nine months for traditional applique or do-ityourself trace and fuse applique and $33 a month for nine months for pre-fused, laser cut shapes for applique blocks. September blocks will be available for pick up on Thursday, September 19th with help sessions on September 19th at 6:30pm and the 21st at 10:30am. October blocks will be available for pick up on Thursday, October 17th with help sessions on October 17th at 6:30pm and the 19th 10:30am.
