Pattern Repeat 4 sts
Abbreviations ch - Chain Stitch
Sl st - Slip Stitch
sc - Single Crochet dc - Double Crochet
Pattern Instructions Foundation Chain: 4 sts Row 1 (wrong side): Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc, ch 1), [2 dc, ch2, 3 dc] in the 4th ch from hook, turn. Row 2: Ch 8, Sl st in 6th ch from hook, ch 7, Sl st in same ch as last Sl st, ch 5, Sl st in same ch as last Sl st (trefoil completed), ch 2, [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in next ch 2 space, turn. Row 3: Sl st in each of first 3 dc, ch 3 (counts as a dc), [2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in next ch-2 space, turn. Repeat row 2 and 3 until edging is required length, ending with row 2 of pattern, do not turn. Work final edge as follows: *Ch 3, 1 sc in top of row-end st, rep from * across, ending with 1 sc in the top of beg ch 4, end off.
