Step 1 — Cover
Remove the 7 philips head screws from the back.
Lift off back cover.
Using a plastic pry tool disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
Step 2 — Battery Disconnection

Step 3 — Battery Removal
Remove the five black phillips screws from the battery.
The battery can now be removed from the laptop.
