2017 GIVING

2017 World Mission Offering

GLOBAL HUNGER RELIEF $2,000 As Christians, we are called to act out the powerful love of Jesus, who the Bible says was “moved with compassion” for people in desperate need. Almost 800 million people around the world live with constant hunger and 1 in 6 in North America are undernourished. In developing countries, 45% of deaths in children under five are caused by poor nutrition. A mind-boggling 10.8 million Syrians have been driven from their homes by violence. Using Global Hunger Relief funds, Baptist Global Response and the International Mission Board are providing food parcels and basic survival kits to families in need. Through our World Mission Offering we will be donating $2000 to Global Hunger Relief. Of every dollar we donate, Baptist Global Response uses 20 cents for hunger projects in North America and 80 cents for hunger relief overseas. 100 percent of donations to Global Hunger Relief go to meet these needs.
