Last Life Group Meeting this Series Next Sunday, November 13th, we will have our last Life Group meeting for this series. Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study Our current study is on events in the lives of people in the book of Acts. Please come join us at 10 a.m., at the building on Thursdays. Save the Date for Our Christmas Party Our Christmas Party will be on Saturday, December 10th, at the building, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. More info will be coming soon! Denham Oaks Elementary School Thanks to everyone who contributed to the purchase of school supplies and 21 warm jackets with hoods for less fortunate kids. The children and the school were overjoyed to receive them. Mt. Dora Children’s Home The truck came last week and picked up the donations of food and supplies, as well as the gift cards and cash. They are deeply grateful to all of you for your generosity and our continued support of that work. Challenge/Opportunity? Just a reminder—on Sunday Neal challenged the congregation to a “Pie-In-the-Face” reward if we reach $50,000 in donations to the Building Fund by November 30th. All contributors will be entered in a drawing. The winner will get a pie to toss in Neal’s face after services on Sunday, December 11th. Our total is currently $23,650. That leaves us $26,350 to raise this month! No amount is too small. You can give by check, cash or Txt2Give—just designate “1 Square Foot” on your donation.

Ladies’ Ornament Exchange This will be on Saturday, December 3rd, from 10 to 1. Please bring an ornament valued at at least $5 for the exchange and a brunch dish to share. Join us for the fun and festivities.
JOY Express This is every Tuesday via phone at 6:15 a.m. or webinar/ phone at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to participate and would like to receive a reminder email, please text the words “Joy Express” to 813-320-4621. You may also email your prayer requests to [email protected] to have them included in the morning and evening sessions. In October, we heard wonderful meditations on emotional issues all women face. In November, we are learning about the Inner Woman. Please join us at either time or both!
MSG (Mature Singles Group) Dinner & Game Night The next gathering will be on Saturday, November 19th, at 5 p.m. at the home of Patti Bass. She will provide the main dish and others should RSVP to her and let her know what side dish you’ll be bringing.
Women’s Bible Study Christmas Luncheon Patti Bass will be our host for this year’s Christmas Luncheon. It will be on Thursday, December 15th, at 11 a.m. Please bring a luncheon dish to share and come join us.
Auditorium Class Schedule Bill Hemphill will be our auditorium class teacher for the next quarter. The overall topic is Living in the Real World. From 12/11/16-1/1/17, his sub-topic will be What Are We Called to Be? From 1/8—1/15 the sub-topic will be How Should I Relate to My Neighbors? And on 1/22 and 2/5—2/26 his subtopic will be How Should I Use My Time?
Another Guys Night Out! UFC Guys Night Out will be on Saturday, November 12th, at 8 p.m., at the home of Gary Stevens (1007 Stella Vara Dr., Lutz, FL 33548). Please bring a snack to share and join in the fellowship and fun. If you have questions, please contact Gary at 813-680-5899.
