Pieces are then arranged, as shown in Assembly Diagram, and sewn together. 2. Pieces are worked with RS facing throughout. Do not turn at the end of rounds, unless otherwise instructed. HEXAGON (make 9) With B, ch 6; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring. Round 1 (RS): Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), 17 dc in ring; join with sl st in top of beginning ch—18 dc. Round 2: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, ch 3 (corner made), [dc in next 3 dc, ch 3 (corner made)] 5 times; join with sl st in top of beginning ch—18 dc and 6 ch-3 sps. Round 3: Ch 3, [dc in each dc to next corner ch-3 sp, 3 dc in next corner ch-3 sp, ch 3] 6 times; join with sl st in top of beginning ch—36 dc and 6 ch-3 sps.
