Expendable Bursary You want to make a difference today. That student who dazzles us, who everyone wants to know, who every coach wants on their team, who excels and thrives on hard work and a determined spirit – that student needs you. With expendable financial assistance, your gift will be awarded annually to provide immediate assistance to a student for the current school year at The Grove. As September begins, that student will be on the road to discovering their own Lakefield difference.

Named Endowed Bursary You believe in making a long-term difference, not only for the students of today, but for tomorrow’s generation as well. You are interested in supporting a named endowed bursary, held in trust by the LCS Foundation, that will grow and benefit young people in the future. Only interest and gains realized on the total amount of your investment (a minimum of $100,000) are distributed to a deserving student with demonstrated financial need, while the capital remains untouched.

Combination Bursary There is a great student just around the corner, on the other side of the country, or across the world who deserves the best that LCS can offer. How can we help them? Through a combination of expendable and endowed funds, we can offer students both immediate assistance and long-term support. A combination bursary expends a portion of its funds every year, and places the remaining balance in endowment. The interest and gains on the endowed portion will be utilized once the balance reaches $100,000 (and the bursary will be named in your honour). All bursary donors will receive an annual letter of appreciation from the student recipient. Endowed bursary donors will also receive an annual financial stewardship report.
