Dear Praying Friends, I have had the same sweetheart for 60 years! For almost 56 of those years she has been my wife. I first met Linda at Vacation Bible School at the Trentman Avenue Baptist Church when she was eleven and I was thirteen. We were good friends for several years and began to date when she was 16 and I was almost 18. We were married on June 9, 1961 and have had an ongoing romance for all these years. I believe that we are more in love with each other today than way back then. Years of experience have taught us the true meaning of love. Our love for the Lord has also grown through the years since we were saved as teenagers in 1958. We have learned that God’s love is unconditional and unfailing and this has enabled our love for the Lord to grow stronger through the years. We have found that there has never been a difficulty in our lives that He did not take care of for us. As our Love for God has grown, our love for each other has also grown. We have learned what it really means to be loved by God and this has taught us to love; the Lord, each other, and others. Our lives and our marriage have been a laboratory in which God has revealed the truth of what true love really is. We have also learned to love the work of God. Linda and I began our ministry in 1962 as Youth Directors of our home church. In 1968 I surrendered to the call to preach and the church named me as Assistant Pastor with a part time salary. In the fall of 1969 we surrendered to the Lord’s call to the mission field and began our deputation ministry in August of 1970 and we have been in full time ministry ever since that time. God has been faithful to meet our needs every day during all this time. God’s faithful provision comes through His faithful children. Churches and individual Christians have prayed for us and supported our ministry financially through all these years. We love Him and we love you for all you have done to bless our lives and make possible what we do for the Lord. Yours for souls,
