jacksonjohnhenry’s the fun-loving kind. He’s travelled the world – and all in his mind.
Since he was three, he’s pretended to be… Captain of his very own pirate ship. On a backyard wild safari trip.
A flying circus monkey acrobat. A skinny ice skating blue and green cat.
When jacksonjohnhenry goes for a walk, He watches and listens and rarely does talk.
And if he’s lucky, perhaps he will see…
Two spiders and a fly reading a book. An alligator just learning to cook.
A hippo swimming backwards in a pool. A polar bear trying hard to stay cool.
One day as he walked, he turned to the sky. Then looked all the way up, up really high. And all he could see were the TOO TALL TREES With branches flapping away in the breeze.
Was not a bit of wind to make them sway. And why they were moving he could not say. Then, jacksonjohnhenry started to run But stopped, so he could reach up and touch one.
When the TOO TALL TREE looked down its tall trunk It saw a small boy in kind of a funk. The TOO TALL TREE groaned, then humphed and grumbled. And the ground beneath its trunk just rumbled.
