TOWN OF CHAPIN SOUTH CAROLINA ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. 06212016 WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed with the Town Council by 100 percent of the freeholders owning 100 percent of the assessed value of the contiguous property hereinafter described petitioning for annexation of the property to the Town under the provisions of S. C. Code Section 5-3150(3); and WHEREAS, it appears to Council that annexation would be in the best interest of the property owners and the Town; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Chapin, South Carolina, this day of ______ ___, 2016 that the property herein described, and the adjacent and abutting rights-of-way, are hereby annexed to and become a party of the Town of Chapin effective _____ _____, 2016. A 5.09 acre tract as shown on a plat prepared for Orthopedic Properties, LLC by GMK Associates, Inc., dated February 18, 2015 and recorded in the Office of the ROD for Lexington County in Record Book 17831 at Page 70. The property is designated as follows on the County tax maps: 000700-01-022. The property shall be zoned _GC_ pending confirmation or rezoning pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance.
