GUIDELINES FOR YOUR

TRANSFER APPLICATION

We're glad you're applying to Bentley University!

OUR ADMISSION PHILOSOPHY

At Bentley, the aim of the admission process is to build upon our community of learners in a way that recognizes and embraces all of the differences that make a community distinctive. Our students come from a variety of experiences, backgrounds, and cultures — aspects that are important to a rich educational experience and your success in college and beyond. A Bentley education focuses on the fusion of business and the arts and sciences. You will learn to find common themes and connections across disciplines, think critically, and work as part of a team. All of this will ultimately prepare you to excel both in the classroom and in life. We receive thousands of applications every year, but we are committed to a caring and holistic admission review that considers everything that makes you the person you are today. Of course, we review the rigor of your curriculum, your achievements in the classroom, and your standardized test scores, if applicable. But beyond academics, we consider other attributes that define you — the way you navigated your college experience, your involvement in your community and your commitment to your interests. The application process at Bentley is about you and finding the best fit for your college experience. This guide provides a checklist of items needed in order to fully evaluate your application. If you have any questions, please ask. We’re here to help!
