LADY KNIGHTS VARSITY SOCCER OFF TO HOT START AND NOW 6-0 ON SEASON The Lady Knights have started off the season strong with wins over Tempe Prep, Arete Prep, Kingman High School, ASU Prep, Chandler Prep, and Paradise Honors. The Lady Knights have given up only 1 goal on the season. There offense is on fire and there defense is proving to be a fortress in front of the goalkeeper. The Lady Knights will play in the Chandler Prep tournament this coming weekend where they will have the opportunity to compete with some of the best schools in the division.

VARSITY BOYS SOCCER DEFEATS ARETE 3-1 Thursday, December 1 was the first road test for the Trivium Prep boys’ varsity squad facing a tough Arete opponent. Trivium got on the board first on a hard blast from the 18 by freshman Brandon LucciK. Junior Pierce Williamson added another goal in the first half off a 25 yard shot that found its way over the keeper’s head. Arete scored their only goal in the second half, but this was quickly followed by a Trivium goal by Freshman Jonathan Renouard who drilled a hard shot past the Arete keeper. Trivium keeper RJ Liston had a solid performance with 3 saves on 4 shots on goal. Trivium enjoyed 12 shots on goal on 14 aUempts. This was a solid and convincing win for the young Trivium Knights team aVer a great opening home game against Tempe Prep where the Knights fell just short by a score of 3-1.
VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL DEFEATS GILBERT LEADING EDGE 63-50
An early season match up of two of Arizona Centrals top ten teams went to the Crimson Knights on Tuesday night. The Knights were led by Tommy Roberts with 20 points and Gerrardo Villescas with 15 points and Daxton Wirth also chipped in 15 points. Donovan Simmons and Lorenzo De Guzman led the team with 8 assist each. The Knights played tough team defense forcing 7 steals and 7 blocked shots. The score was 24-17 at the half. The Knights turned on the defense in the third quarter taking a 20 point lead. The Knights finished strong defea^ng Gilbert Leading Edge 63-50.

VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL FALLS TO ODYSSEY 31-16 The Lady Knights fought hard but were defeated by Odyssey 33-16. The Knights started off slow, but picked up the intensity the second half. Aniyah Petrus led the Knights with 8 points and 4 steals. Kendra Nelson and Nyah Torres sparked Trivium the second half with their aggressive defense and the Knights held Odyssey to 2 points in the 4th quarter. The Lady Knights will face off against Arizona Charter on Thursday, December 15th at 5:30pm on the road.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS SOCCER FALLS TO CHANDLER PREP The Knights played their second game of the season against the Chandler Prep Titans on December 9, 2016.AVer being several points down, Danny Rosztoczy made a beau^ful goal in the first half. The Knights did a wonderful job running into space and suppor^ng their teammates. The team also had several strong drives towards the Titans goal. The team struggled implemen^ng defensive strategies in the midfield and our defensive third of the field. I am very proud of how the Knights persevered through the challenges they faced this game and con^nued to play with great heart. This week we will focus on developing a stronger sense of defensive posi^oning along with the concept of delay defense in prepara^on for our game against Glendale Prep on December 16, 2016.
JV BOYS BASKETBALL DEFEATS CHANDLER PREP 53-31
The Crimson Knights JV Boys Basketball team defeated Chandler Prep by a score of 53-31. The Knights played strong team defense and forced mul^ple turnovers that converted to easy baskets.
JV BOYS BASKETBALL DEFEATS GILBERT LEADING EDGE 51-24
The JV Boys basketball team defeated Gilbert Leading Edge 51-24. The Knights were led in scoring by Hugo Santa Cruz with 19 points, Trys^n Burt with 12 and Jake Taylor with 14.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER FALLS TO CHANDLER The Lady Knights score early in the game. Chandler Prep answered before half ^me to ^e the game at 1-1. The Lady Knights came out on fire scoring two goals in the second half. Chandler prep answered both of those goals and the game ended in a ^e during regula^on.The Lady Knights fell to Chandler Prep in over^me by a score of 3-4.The Lady Knights were led in scoring by 6th grader Ella Rusick. Next up is a home game vs. Glendale Prep on Friday aVernoon at 2:30pm. Join us as we cheer on the Lady Knights! MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL DEFEATS NORTH PHOENIX PREP The Lady Knights had some hot bats in a 10-2 win against North Phoenix Prep. The team was led by great pitching from Adyson Maya, Sara Wallschlaeger, and Miraya McFall.
MIDDLE SCHOOL BASEBALL A DEFEATS NORTH POINTE 11-0 Great start for the Middle School Baseball “A” team as they beat North Pointe Prep in 4 innings. Luke Willingham got the win as he struck out 5 in two innings of work. Offensively, there were 7 hits spread among 7 different players which included 3 singles, 3 doubles and a home run by Dane Bacigalupi. MIDDLE SCHOOL BASEBALL B DEFEATS SCOTTSDALE PREP The Crimson Knights Middle School Baseball B team defeated ScoUsdale Prep 9-6 on Monday aVernoon. The Knights were led in hiKng by Cohen Aldridge.
