December 28-29, 2017 (December 30 – Rain Make up) 9am – 12pm James Island HS Baseball Field 7-13 $80 per camper - $90 for day of walk-ups
Instructors: Head Coach Matt Spivey, JICHS Coaching Staff, & JICHS baseball players Purpose: Campers will benefit from two days of direct instruction and drills implemented by the baseball coaching staff on a daily basis within the program. Campers will be instructed on the basics of hitting, fielding, pitching, base-running, and mental & physical preparation. Day 1: 9am – 10:30am – Hitting & Base-running Fundamentals 10:35am – 12:00pm – Defensive Fundamentals Day 2: 9am – 10:30am – Pitching Fundamentals 10:35am – 12:00pm – Defensive Fundamentals Camper Responsibilities: Campers need to bring a positive attitude and willingness to work, their own bats, batting gloves, and any other practice gear they may need. If desired, players will need to bring a snack. Due to camp staffing, there will be no refunds (future camp credit available).
