What is covered by these fees? The Eastside Timbers Winter Competitive program is a twelve month program that begins in May with team formation. Teams will train June, July and August (until player’s high school begins trainings/tryouts) and will participate in 1 or 2 Summer Tournaments. Teams will take a break through the fall for members to participate with their High School. At the conclusion of the Oregon High School soccer season, teams will regroup and begin training, generally around the first of November. League games will begin the end of January and conclude with tryouts for the following year. The program consists of the following, whether a player chooses to take part in the event or not.
Twice weekly trainings as established by staff coaches (June & July, break for High School, then November and holiday break in December and back training in January to April). Winter League Entry Fee (January through April) End of Season League Tournament (State Cup or President’s Cup) Coaches Compensation Facility Rental (Turf & Grass Fields, Lights, Port-a-Potties, etc.) Administrative Costs (Player, Coach and Team Administrative Fees; Club Administrative Expenses, Coaching Fees, Scheduling, Staffing)
Are any of the Soccer Fees refundable? Upon acceptance of team placement, all fees are due and considered non-refundable. What is not covered by these fees?
Uniforms. Tournament fees over and above Club Winter Showcase Tournament Team expenses to include travel, coaches’ travel & per diem, team equipment purchases, etc. Futsal or Indoor League Fees
Is there any financial assistance available? A limited amount of financial aid is available to families who qualify. There is a two-step application process that includes a Financial Aid Application and tax documents. The application, documentation, and deposit must be turned in on or before June 15, 2017. Any player in need of financial assistance MUST attend a Financial Assistance Planning Meeting. At that meeting, details of the Eastside Timbers financial aid program will be outlined. We will also provide information on our club fundraising activities that will allow families to earn funds towards their player fees. If you do not attend this mandatory meeting, it may be very difficult for you to receive financial assistance.
