UCLA Northwest Campus Redevelopment Hedrick and Rieber Precincts
SWA provided full landscape architectural services for the renovation and redevelopment of the Hedrick and Rieber Precincts of Phase 1 and 2 of the UCLA Northwest Campus Master Plan. The project included the redesign and construction of undergraduate housing with an additional 2,000 beds and associated academic, recreational and student programming facilities designed to integrate with the residential living experience, and provide an environment-rich combination of spaces and activities fostering the vitality in on-campus residential life. The University Urban Simulation Team in the School of Arts and Architecture was involved in producing fully rendered CAD models and Pfeiffer Partners constructed a 16-foot scale model depicting the final build-out.
