Union BASEBALL DIAMOND Club DIAMOND CLUB PURPOSE 2015 marks the second year of the Diamond Club which is dedicated to supporting and promoting the Union University Baseball Program. The primary role of the club is to help the baseball program by providing financial assistance for things not funded through any other source. These things may include field maintenance, meals, travel, equipment and special projects not covered in our annual budget. We are striving to become one of the most respected programs in the Gulf South Conference as well as the state of Tennessee and beyond. Your willingness to provide assistance is a great step forward in achieving our goals. UNION BASEBALL NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT The only source of revenue for the athletic department are budget dollars derived from tuition, very limited gate receipts and contributions from friends like you through organizations like the Diamond Club. The cost to run a first class baseball program is high and we must depend more and more on outside contributions to achieve the level needed to compete at a championship level. Contributions to the Diamond Club are used to meet these increasing costs.
