VISION STATEMENT OF THE FEDERATION OF ASSOCIATIONS OF GHANAIAN EXPORTERS (FAGE) Ghana will be the leading West African exporter of fresh and processed food as well as other manufactured products to our neighbouring countries. Ghanaian brands will be internationally known for quality, value for money and reliability of supply all year round. The whole nation will be aware of the importance of exports to strengthen the Ghanaian economy and to create prosperity for our people. All members of the value chain of all sizes, from producers and processors to exporters, will work together to contribute to a thriving export sector in Ghana. Our national currency, the Ghana cedi, will serve as a stable backbone for our economy, because our exports will balance our imports. Plantations for exportable products will be established throughout every district to guarantee year-round supply of agricultural raw materials for finished and semi-finished products. World-class research institutions will be in place to develop high-quality planting materials, as well as soil nutrient management, post-harvest and land preparation technologies. The Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) will act as partners to spearhead a paradigm shift giving direction, training and advice, with an efficient and unbureaucratic EXIMBANK providing financial resources. Patriotic and professionally trained personnel of government agencies will ensure top quality standards of goods and services in Ghana.
