Visitors Guide to Krishna Avanti Primary School Evington Hall was built in 1835 as the home of the Sheriff of Leicester. Set in five acres of lush grounds, the spacious site provides an ideal environment for learning and play. There has been a major refurbishment and new build programme which combines the very latest in modern design with the heritage of Evington Hall. By Bus From the City Centre, the bus number 22, run by First, will bring you to Spencefield Lane. The last stop before the school is at the junction of Whitehall Road. The walk to the school from there is about 2–3 minutes.
By Train From Leicester Train Station it’s a 10 minute ride by taxi. Taxis are available outside the station and should cost around £5–6. If you wish to prebook at taxi, we recommend Swift Fox: 0116 262 8222
Car Parking When you drive into the School site, go straight down the drive and turn left to access the disabled car parking spaces, which are directly outside
Evington Hall. Other car parking will be available by either turning left at the lawn or along the left hand side of the driveway. All the spaces on the right hand side are reserved for use by St. Paul’s Catholic School. On Arrival Please report to reception in Evington Hall where you will be given a visitors pass and accompanied to your meeting.
