VOLLEYBALL CAMP
The St. Mary’s Volleyball Camp staff includes current players as well as Head Coach Jenny Chipman and Assistant Coach Gary Payne. In 2014, their fifth year coaching the Rattlers, Chipman and Payne helped St. Mary’s earn its third Heartland Conference Tournament appearance in their five seasons at the helm. The other apperances came in 2010 and 2013. In 2010, their first year leading the program, St. Mary’s won the Heartland Conference Tournament and advanced to the NCAA regional for the first time in school history. Over the past five years, many honors have been bestowed upon the program, including senior setter Kori McCarver (Churchill HS) winning Conference Player of the Year in 2010 and current players Jenna Paul and Victorria Martinez both winning Conference Freshman of the Year in recent seasons.

Gar y Payne Assistant Director Coach Payne came to San Antonio from Nebraska, where he was an assistant at the NCAA Division II powerhouse Nebraska-Kearney. He has spent the last 15 years coaching at the high school, club, junior college and Division II levels.

Jenny Chipman Camp Director Coach Chipman was an outside hitter at the University of Texas under 2000 U.S. Olympic Head Coach Mick Haley. She has spent the last 19 years coaching college volleyball at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels.
