VOLUNTEER POLICY
VOLUNTEER POLICY Volunteers are an integral part of the operations of Keystone Little League (KLL). Without volunteer assistance, many essential functions could not be performed and/or the registration fees would need to rise to allow for payments to non-volunteers to perform essential task. Because of the critical need for volunteer assistance, the KLL Board of Directors (KLL Board) has approved the following Volunteer Policy effective January 1, 2017:
All KLL families will be given an opportunity to either volunteer or pay a Volunteer Fee to the league to subsidize non-volunteer assistance. A Volunteer Fee of $25.00 will be charged per registrant during the registration process beginning in the Spring 2017 season, and every season thereafter unless otherwise modified by the KLL Board. During the registration process, the parent or guardian of the registrant can complete a Volunteer Commitment Form and request a Volunteer Credit of $25.00 for each registered child (and the Volunteer Credit will be applied against the Volunteer Fee). Volunteer Activities that currently qualify for a Volunteer Credit include: o Serving as a Team Manager or Team Coach o Serving on (and active participation with) the KLL Board o Volunteering for a minimum of 3 hours on any KLL sponsored activity: Opening Night Ceremonies Park Clean Up/Maintenance Day Game Day: Field Maintenance or Scorekeeping duties for min of 3 games All Volunteer Activities must be completed prior to the end of the season.

SPRING 2017 VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT FORM I agree, and make a commitment to Keystone Little League (KLL), to provide a minimum of 3 volunteer hours per registered child for the Spring 2017 season. With my commitment, KLL will apply a Volunteer Credit of $25.00 per registered child towards Spring 2017 registration fees.
