VOLUNTEER ROWING COACH, WOMEN’S ROWING JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose: To provide coaching and instructional as well as overall program support for a nationally-ranked NCAA Division I women's rowing team. Essential Functions: Coach student-athletes in practice sessions and competitive events. Provide backup to the Head Coach and Assistant Coach to cover inherent in collegiate rowing. Coach student-athletes during learning sessions on technique and competition. Assist with developing physical/mechanical skills and help analyze problems with technique and approach. Research and teach developments in physical training, nutrition and strength/conditioning. Comply with all provisions and limitations NCAA Volunteer Coach rules and legislation for contacting and evaluating prospective student-athletes and other rules as appropriate.
