If your horse/pony is currently registered with ESNZ you must go in the graded classes.

If your horse/pony is not currently registered with ESNZ for dressage you must go in the ungraded classes.

Health & Safety - Competitors and spectators attending this show do so at their own risk, and must abide by the WCEG Health & Safety rules, please ensure you read these, they can be found on the EE website along with the Disclaimer and also of www.horses.net.nz. Riders entering this show agree to obey all WCEG Health & Safety policies and conditions. Class Rules - All classes run under ESNZ rules, horses DO NOT have to be registered for ungraded classes. All riders have to be registered as an introductory member or be a financial member of ESNZ. DNZ T&D levy – This is paid to Dressage New Zealand (for the Training & Development of NZ Riders - $3.00 per test – included in your per test fee). The committee reserves the right to - alter and/or cancel the programme or prizes if necessary within ESNZ rules. Bridle & Saddle blanket numbers - Both ESNZ bridle numbers must be used (if you have them), if you do not have bridle numbers you are required to use our saddle blanket numbers – this also applies to warming up, these can be collected from the office – your $5.00 saddle blanket fee must be paid with entry – fee is refunded once return to the office Commanding of Tests - All Tests may be commanded, other than FEI tests Objections - All objections must be lodged with the event secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the completion of the class with a $50 fee. NEW RULE – DAY YARDS – Yarding per day $5.00 per horse, they MUST be booked when entering – you will be allocated a yard for the day. Yards must be left tidy, a fee of $20.00 will apply for yards left dirty, if damaged you will be charged. Yard must not be used if not booked/allocated. Rosettes - 1st-6th double rosettes - these will be available for collection from the office 30 minutes after final posted score. Scratchings - Must be notified by phone (before 9pm) prior to the event. During the event, see Christine in the office or phone 027 4825853. Refunds will be given at the discretion of Organising Committee, requests must be in writing on our official form (available from Christine or www.horses.net.nz), within 7 days of event with a Vet., Doctors Certificate or Farriers Certificate. Dogs - Must be kept on a lead at all times (WCEG rule & Hamilton City Council bylaw), & away from arenas, warm up areas, the office & scoreboards. Horses on Grounds - All horses on the grounds MUST be competing, for special requests you MUST contact the show secretary prior to the show Test Sheets - Stamp addressed envelopes will be available from the office for tests to be sent out (cost $2.00) Weather - The show will go ahead rain or shine. Overnight Yarding/Riding at grounds day before competition – Non members $20.00 ground fee applies if riding at grounds the day before the competition, this fee must be paid into the box beside the first yards on the left as you drive in, you must text when you arrive and text when you finish riding as per the WCEG rules. Please pay your overnight fee when entering you will be allocated a yard. You must have an ID tag on your horse at all times. Queries to Kara Lockhart 07-8496328 or 0274-834328. Stallions – Riders are to advise organisers of stallions entry & any requirements, rider must also comply with the ESNZ article 147. Falls - As per the WCEG Event policy any rider that has a fall MUST be checked by our medic before they are allowed to remount and continue. Practice Show Jumping Sunday 31 March 2018 – 10.00am-3.00pm Venue – Waikato Equestrian Centre Organised by the W.E.C. Riding School 10.00 am Start – In the Riverside paddock Rain or shine (hopefully shine). Blackboard order. Heights – starting at 40cm and going up 10cm every half an hour (or based on demand) to 90cm and then 5cm every half an hour thereafter until finish. ENTRY FEES: • Show Jumping - $5.00 per round (entry before day). • Show Jumping - $8.00 per round (entry on the day). • Admin fee - $5.00 per horse. • Facility fee – $15.00 per horse (current WCEG Financial Members $7.00). • Yard fee (day) $5.00 per horse. • Yard fee (overnight) $10.00 per horse. • Medic Fee $2.50 per rider. •
