WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN Arrowhead Tranmission Main Phase 3 - N. Oak Trfwy - Hwy 169 WHAT? • Important infrastructure work will be
performed in your neighborhood.
WHO? • Kissick Construction, and Black &
Veatch in partnership with KC Water.
• Water transmission main extension.
WHERE?
WHY? • The new water transmission main is
necessary to increase the amount of water supplied to the North Booster System including Arrowhead Pump Station.
The transmission main alignment runs along N Oak Trafficway to NE 54th Street to the west ending at NE Englewood Rd and Hwy 169.
IMPROVEMENTS? • Increased system reliability • Increased capacity for north system.
WHAT TO EXPECT? • Survey crews will be in the area and
clearly identified.
• Large equipment will be used, creating
noise and dusty conditions - we will work to minimize this inconvenience.
• Temporary lane closures and detours
will occur.
WHEN? • Construction begins June 2016 • Field investigations and design are
complete
• Curbs, sidewalks, and streets affected
by construction will be restored.
• Lawn and wooded areas will be
restored once work is complete.
