Time to grab your swimsuit for an exciting journey downstream. It starts with an exciting two-mile ride down the Glen Canyon Dam access tunnel where you’ll board a motorized pontoon raft. With the 700foot tall dam towering next to you, your guide will take you down one of the most majestic stretches of the enchanting Colorado River, filling you in along the way about some of nature’s other wonders like the incredible sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, and amazing wildlife. For another definite sight to see, be sure not to miss the 1,000-foot tall sandstone cliffs towering above you. As big as the Colorado River gets, its backwaters, eddies, and channels just beg for its 14 to 22-inch trout to be plucked from it.
