May 2018 Key Stage 3 Water Sports Trip – Yenworthy Lodge, 18th-20th May 2018 Dear It is not long now till we set off for a weekend of water sports fun in North Devon. Warm weather, sunshine and suitably big waves have been ordered, although cannot be guaranteed! One thing that is assured is that you will have a fantastic weekend. Below are the final details for the trip and attached is a kit list. If you have any further questions then please don’t hesitate to ask. Leaving Langtree: We will depart from Langtree at 1pm on Friday 18th May by minibus. When you arrive at school in the morning you need to be in the clothes you are going to travel in (non-school uniform) and bring your kit bag up to Mrs Lackey’s office next to the staffroom. At the end of lesson 4 you will then collect your bag and take it to the minibus to be loaded. You are advised to bring a packed lunch for the journey. Returning to Langtree: We will aim to return to Langtree at 7:30pm on Sunday 20th May. However this is dependent on traffic! Spending Money: We will stop at a service station for a short break on the journeys to and back from Devon. So you can bring some money to purchase a drink and snack if you wish. There will be a DVD with photos of the whole weekend available to purchase for £3. Lastly is also a shop at Yenworthy Lodge where you can buy a memento from the trip if you wish, if you would like to do this please look at the Yenworthy shop in advance on their website and bring the correct money with you.
