As November is upon us, so will be the busy colliding schedules of academics, extracurricular events, and soon-to-be holiday season! We cannot reiterate the importance of your child’s attendance in school. As a school, our attendance rate is currently at 88%. Thank you for your help and support in this team effort of improving our attendance rate, which contributes towards your child’s success. We had a great month and an incredibly jammed-packed Homecoming Week (more highlights on the reverse side).

Through the assistance and guidance of our counselors and Higher Ed division, over 75% of our senior class have completed their ECAP and begun the process of applying to a college, university or post high school program.
Through the reflection of NWEA, we have best ensured that all students are properly assigned skill builder courses in the content needed. Any necessary adjustments were completed at the quarter.
The SRHS athletics department combined for an average student grade-point average of 3.14 during Quarter 1. There were 92 students and six sports offered for Fall Sports at SRHS.
Our Higher Ed division hosted College Fair at Courtyard Scottsdale Marriott, October 18.
92% of our 10th and 11th grade students took the PSAT.
We had a “Grand Opening” to our room that is dedicated as The College and Career Center, on Friday, October 21st. Students received cookies with local colleges on them.
Our homecoming (football game) was featured on NBC Channel 12 News, “Friday Night Fever” the evening of October 21st.
We had a parade and hosted an alumni flag football game on Oct. 17. There were 130 people in attendance, including 5 of 7 of the previous head coaches for

There are already three seniors who have been accepted into a 4-year university and one senior has been accepted into a technical school for cosmetology.
