WEC WINTER DRESSAGE SERIES 2017 RUN BY & HELD AT THE WAIKATO COMBINED EQUESTRIAN GROUP INCORP GROUNDS, PUKETE ROAD, TE RAPA, HAMILTON.
Four day series for Horses and Ponies with daily double rosettes 1st to 6th, Spot Prizes, and accumulating points that go towards the final top scores in each section & category.
All tests will be ridden outdoors on sand and/or grass, if entries are excessive ponies & para/special olympics will be run on the Saturday afternoon.

General Rules & Conditions – Please Read Carefully.
1.
Health & Safety - Competitors and spectators attending this show do so at their own risk, and must abide by the WCEG Health & Safety rules, please ensure you read these, they can be found on the EE website along with the Disclaimer, also on www.horses.net.nz.

Programme & Class Rules - All classes run under ESNZ rules, horses DO NOT have to be registered with “ESNZ” as this is not a graded show. All riders must be registered as a community member (free) or be a financial member of ESNZ. The Committee reserves the right to - alter and/or cancel the programme if necessary within ESNZ rules.
3.
Bridle & Saddle blanket numbers - Both ESNZ bridle numbers must be used (if you have them), if you do not have bridle numbers you are required to use our saddle blanket numbers – this also applies to warming up, these can be collected from the office – your $5.00 saddle blanket fee must be paid with entry – fee is refunded once returned to the office)

Commanding of Tests - All Tests may be commanded

Objections - All objections must be lodged with the event secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the completion of the class with a $50 fee.
6.
Yards/ID Tags – First in first served basis, ensure you leave your yard tidy, any damage please report to office, ID tags must be worn at all times (warming up & competing), and/or if staying overnight.
7.
Rosettes - 1st-6th rosettes in each class - these will be available for collection from the office 30 minutes after final posted score. We will not be posting out rosettes.
8.
Final Day Prizes - Top score Sections: 1st place getters in each section will receive a garland made by Sue McKenna, 2nd -6th will receive a sashes. Top score Categories: 1st to 6th will receive sashes. Note: Top score accumulating results for each class will be available on our website after each show day. Top score presentations will be held on the last day.

Scratchings - Must be notified by phone (before 9pm) prior to the event. During the event, see Christine in the office or phone 027 4825853. Refunds will be given at the discretion of Organising Committee, requests must be in writing on our official form (available from Christine or on www.horses.net.nz), and within 7 days of event with a Vet., Doctors Certificate or farriers cert.
10.
Dogs - Must be kept on a lead at all times (WCEG rule & Hamilton City Council bylaw), and away from arenas, warm up areas, the office & scoreboards for safety.
11.
Horses - All horses on the grounds must be competing. Test Sheets - Stamp addressed envelopes will be available from the office for tests to be sent out (cost $1.00), sheets available 30minutes after final score is posted
12.
Newcomer section – Riders may stay in this section for the duration of the series even if they received 1st – 6th on any of the days.
13.
Weather - The show will go ahead rain or shine.
