2. JV / Varsity Boys’ Tennis Meeting TODAY, Wednesday, 3/1 @ 3:10 in the San Marco Gym for anyone interested in playing. (AD) 3. Attention Science Scholars Seniors: Please meet in B4 TODAY, Wed. 3/1/17 at 3 p.m. for information about upcoming competitions. (Ms. DeCandia) 4. There is no meeting of the Economics Club TODAY, Wednesday, 3/1. 9. Supporting the World Food Programme will be hosting a 3 V 3 Basketball Tournament on Friday, 3/3 @ 6:30 p.m. Limit 1 varsity player of either sex per team. There will be a 7-8th grade bracket and a 9-12 bracket. Sign up during lunch periods. (LS) 10. Attention ALL signed-out Athletes: Please remember to report back to Physical Education on Monday, 3/6 or Tues., 3/7. (TS)
11. All girls interested in playing varsity softball: There will be skill sessions open to anyone interested in playing varsity softball from 4-5:30 in San Marco Gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until the season begins. (C. Maguire)

6. Grades 9-12, anyone interested in joining the TEDxEdgemontSchool effort should attend the first meeting on Thursday, 3/2 at 3:05 in E-4. If you can't attend, but intend on joining the team, please talk to Cliffton, Tariq, Vivek, or Dr. Calabro.
7. Attention 9th and 10th graders: If you like the peer program and are interested in applying to become a peer leader for 201718, please complete your applications by Friday, 3/3. Applications were shared with your grade by Dr. Mitch Shapiro via google form in the beginning of February.
8. French Club Bake Sale: Friday, 3/3 after school. Bring your euros!!! Sorry $$$... (BAS)
12. The Senior Class will be selling St. Patrick's Day Carnations during lunch periods on Monday, 3/6 through Friday, 3/10. Delivery will take place during Period 1 on Friday March 17.(MM) 13. Reminder to all interested Phaedrus applicants: Applications are due on Monday,
3/6. To find the application, go to Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School homepage and click on the “Phaedrus” tab located under “Departments.” Remember to EMAIL your applications to [email protected] and [email protected] AND bring your signed cover sheet with your parent’s/guardian’s signature to the A-School. Both the application and cover sheet need to be turned in by 3:00 on Monday, March 6.
14. One of the best ways to recycle is to find a use for unwanted items. Here's your chance to "reuse" unwanted books. The Elementary PTA is collecting gently used books for their upcoming fairs. Collection bins will be at both Seely Place and Greenville Monday, 3/6 through Monday, 3/13. (Mr. G) CONTINUED
