Kids Corner Childcare

Fall is quickly fading into winter as I write this, and I am again amazed how different everything looks with a covering of snow! The children will all need at least 1 complete change of clothes on hand every day at the Daycare. That is in addition to their snowsuit, mitts, hats, and boots. If your child is in the process of toilet training, this may also mean some extra underpants. Please also make sure your child has a pair of inside shoes/slippers they can leave at the Daycare. An extra sweater or hoodie is also a good idea for those chilly days inside. CHILD’S NAME/INITIALS ON EVERYTHING, PLEASE! The “off-with-the-outside-footwear” rule is now in effect. Water (melted snow) is dangerous to have on the floor…also bear in mind that those who are obeying the rule, and walking in their stocking feet to bring their child in, do not want to step in puddles of melting snow. So please do your part…leave your “slush puppies” in the entranceway. Thanks-a-heap!!

Big Brothers & Sisters We had visitors last week from Vanguard Bible College in Edmonton. These wonderful students helped the teachers out, played with the kids, and just generally made themselves useful while getting valuable experience in what it is like to work in a Daycare. God, bless them all!
