Friday 14th Children in Need In a change to the dates advertised in the September Newsletter – on Friday children will be invited to come to school dressed in their own clothes, preferably with something spotty, in support of Children in Need. Children wishing to do this should bring a minimum £1 donation. All money raised will be donated to Children in Need.

Children from Year 5 and Year 3 will take part in the Junior Chef Academy in which they will learn about War time food. Tuesday 18th Junior Chef Academy Children from Year 6 and Year 4 will take part in the Junior Chef Academy in which they will learn about War time food. Wednesday 19th 4M Class assembly Parents are welcome to attend. Friday 21st PTA Christmas Fair Children are invited to attend school in their own clothes in exchange for Tombola prizes.

Spelling- unstressed vowels Merit award: Well done to: 5G: Cameron Scott Allen 5M: Ella Smith 5J: Louie Williams - Ferrington On Friday 7th Year 5 went to Garston Park church to learn about Remembrance Sunday and World War I and II. We will be reading stories with Imaginary settings and studying images and film clips set in imaginary worlds. Multiplication- informal and formal methods and Times Tables. 7 Times Table. Story book to be read - Letter to a character from the story to be written. Well done to all the year 4 children who stepped up to represent Gilmour in the Year 5 and 6 indoor athletics competition. We finished a very proud second! A special well done to Tom Olyott and Cory Harding, who won their individual races even though they were against year 6 children from other schools.
