Everyday Faith Series: Faith in the Workplace with Rev. K. Palmer Hartl November 1 at 9:00 AM, Parish Hall
K. Palmer Hartl, MDiv, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Grinnell College, and received an MDiv, with a concentra on in Counseling and Group Dynamics from Virginia Theological Seminary. While in his first parish, Rev. Hartl began addi onal training in group work, team interac on, and Transac onal Analysis. This eventually led to a career as a pastoral psychotherapist and leadership and management consultant to for‐profit and non‐profit organiza ons.
Now that we have launched the Stewardship Campaign for 2016 it is the me of year that we, the parishioners express our support for Saint Lukes, Our Spiritual Home.
“From our first visit to St. Luke’s, we have felt at home here. It is seldom easy to get all four of us out the door on Sunday morning, but I am always glad we did. We all need the chance to pause, to step out of our weekly chaos and reflect. Saint Luke’s offers us much more – spiritual nourishment, intellectual engagement, beau ful music, and a welcoming community.” ‐Lillian & Ma Raben For these and some many other reasons, Saint Luke’s really does ma er.
Please make your commitment today.

Fall Harvest Luncheon
Thursday, November 12 at 12:30 PM, Parish Hall
Join us for the fes vi es as Abigail Lennox sings and plays her guitar for a sing‐along during lunch.
Sophomore Samantha B. reflects on the experience, "Before walking into Feed My Starving Children, I was unaware of the impact that such a small group of people, working together, would make. The organiza on Feed My Starving Children has a great strategy of not only packing the meals quickly but in a fun and enjoyable way. During the hour and a half that I spent working with the 8 people at my table, I felt more connected as a group, due to the fact that we laughed almost the en re me. In the end, this event is perfect for all ages and is very upli ing and empowering when you hear about how many children can eat every day for one more year by dona ng just two hours of your me."
Please RSVP to church office: 203‐655‐1456.
