Week one of this two‐week, lay‐led series will explore the idea that we talk a lot about Chris an Community, but: Just what does a Chris an Community portray? Two panel speakers—John Crowley, a team captain in the Community Supper Ministry, and Jason Gaaserud, our Youth Outreach Representa ve—will describe their faith experiences in small group communi es. Then, in small groups, par cipants will consider how they describe a Chris an Community and how it differs from an ins tu onal community. What are its benefits? How do we act when a member?
Now that we have launched the Stewardship Campaign for 2016, it is the me of year that we, the parishioners, express our support for Saint Lukes, Our Spiritual Home.
“Saint Luke’s has been the center of our family’s spiritual life for almost 25 years. Whether in worship, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School or serving as a Chalice Bearer, our week begins each Sunday at Saint Luke’s. The clergy has been there for us at mes of crisis and triumph and the fellowship with other parishioners has always meant Saint Luke’s was at the center of our family. “ —Jim Cameron For these and some many other reasons, Saint Luke’s really does ma er. Please make your commitment to‐ day. Three easy ways to pledge: Send your pledge form in to the Parish Office.
