Here’s Why We Are Saying Yes We can’t wait on this. The growth is here and we have reached our maximum capacity. Others said yes when my kids were in school, now it’s my turn to do it for someone else. We moved here specifically for this school district because of its excellent reputation. As a parent of a kindergartner, I’m concerned about the 1500 more kids coming into the district over the next few years. Great schools help the community grow and fuel the economy. My children and grandchildren live here because of the great schools. I want that legacy of great schools in Prior Lake and Savage to continue for my family. Room for learning is crucial. I do not want my child’s classroom to be overcrowded because that limits learning and hinders our kids’ education. I want to remain a Top 10 school district in the Twin Cities.
