; 610-436-2152 In four years at WCU, Prachniak has authored a 123-67 (.647) overall record and landed his charges in the PSAC Championship in each of his first two years on the bench. West Chester won the PSAC title and the Atlantic Region title in 2012, en route to the national championship that spring. The 2012 national title was the first baseball championship in school history and the first by any school located in Pennsylvania at any level of the NCAA, as well as the first by a school at the Division II level located in the Northeastern United States. Last season, 2015, Prachniak guided his charges to a return trip to the NCAA Atlantic Regional. In all, West Chester has won a national championship, an Atlantic Region championship, a PSAC championship and a PSAC Eastern Division title in Prachniak's four-year tenure. Additionally, the WCU head coach has been lauded as coach of the year twice (2012, 2015) and has mentored the Eastern Division player of the year twice (2012, 2015) and the pitcher of the year once (2012). The Rhode Island native also earned ABCA Field Turf Division II national coach of the year as well in 2012. Three former Golden Rams have been drafted in the MLB Entry Draft since Prachniak stepped on campus. Joey Wendle (Oakland A's organization) in Triple-A Joe Gunkel (Baltimore Orioles organization) in Double-A and Dylan Tice (St. Louis Cardinals organization) in Single-A.
