兒女是屬於神的，是祂的賞賜，父母是管家，當樂意將兒女從小帶到神面前，靠神的恩典、能力， 照祂的心意教導他們走當行的道，直到他們長大成人。嬰兒祝福禮是一個機會，讓父母們在神和 會眾面前表明這心願，並表明願以本教會成為屬靈的家。(詩 127:3-5; 箴 22:6; 路 2:34; 可 10:16) Children belong to God and are his blessing.
Parents are stewards who willingly raise them before God,
relying on his grace, power and guidance to teach them in the way they should go until they grow up.
Infant
