Web Apps System Security Overview Access to Self Service Responsibilities is based on each individual user’s login (username and password). The login connects the user to a specific responsibility. Each user will only have access to the responsibilities needed in order to perform his/her specific job functions as determined by his/her supervisor. For example, if Jane Anne only processes Recharges to PTA, she will only have access to and see the Internal Charge responsibility.

Responsibilities

A responsibility controls the user’s access to applications, system functions, reports and data. An example of a responsibility in the Web Apps is “Internal Charges” which provides a user Recharge to PTA capability. Examples of access types are: •

Full Access is where users can access all functions related to processing recharges to PTA including creating, querying, and reviewing Web Internal Charge (WIC) form information.

View Only Access is where the user has the ability to query and view WIC form information, but does not have the ability to create WIC forms.

The responsibilities assigned to each user will be consistent with the business functions that user needs in order to perform his/her job.
