Wilson Wins Two Events at District Swim By Tim Taylor, January 31, 2016 Junior Shelby Wilson won two individual events as Paris High swimmers competed Saturday at in the District 10-5A Swimming and Diving Championships at the Austin College Hannah Natatorium in Sherman. Prosper won both girls and boys divisions with Paris finishing second among girls teams and fourth among boys. The top six finishers in each event advance to the Region 3-5A championships held Feb. 5-6 in Frisco. Paris will be sending 15 entries to that meet. Wilson won the girls 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke, where she edged out the second-place finisher by 0.28 second. Junior Keyton Gilbert was the top scorer among the Paris boys with a third in the 100 butterfly and fourth in the 50 freestyle. Girls Results
