The Win $1000 and a Recycled Bench with Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures™ (“BSBF”) Oral Care Recycling Program! Promotion ("Promotion") is open to schools registered to receive oral health education kits in the BSBF program in Australia or New Zealand in 2017 ("Schools").

The Promotion will be open from 00.01 AEDT on 1 February 2017 to 23.59 AEDT on 1 November 2017 (“Promotion Period”).

To enter the Promotion each School must, during the Promotion Period, complete the following steps: (a)
visit the relevant Sponsor's website at: www.terracycle.co.nz/en-NZ/brigades (for Schools located in New Zealand) or www.terracycle.com.au/en-AU/brigades (for Schools located in Australia);
(b)
click on the “Bright Smiles Bright Futures” Logo, then: (i) if the School already has a TerraCycle account: i. click “Sign in Here” and sign in using their TerraCycle account. Note: if the School did not previously choose “BSBF Schools Kit” in the drop down menu under the “How did you hear about us” option when creating the TerraCycle account, then the School must sign up for a new TerraCycle account to participate in the Promotion by following the steps in clause (b)(ii) below; (j) if the School does not have a TerraCycle account: i. click on “Sign up now” and create a TerraCycle account (including registering the School’s name, type (e.g. “primary school”),address, phone number, email address, number of people collecting waste to be recycled, and the name, age and gender of the person registering the School); and ii. choose “BSBF Schools Kit” in the drop down menu under the “How did you hear about us” option;
(c)
if not already a member, [join the Colgate BSBF Oral Care Recycling Program using their TerraCycle account];
(d)
click “request a postage label” to receive a free shipping label to TerraCycle in Australia or TerraCycle in New Zealand (as applicable); and
(e)
using the relevant shipping label, send the relevant Sponsor as many shipments of toothpaste tubes and caps, floss containers, toothbrushes and toothbrush and toothpaste tube outer packaging (“Accepted Oral Care Waste”) as it can to be recycled as part of the TerraCycle Oral Care Recycling Program. Each shipment must weigh at least 1 kilogram.

There is no limit to the number of shipments a School may send to the Sponsors during the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, each School can only have one TerraCycle account, but may collect Accepted Oral Care Waste from multiple people who belong to that School to send to the Sponsor as part of the TerraCycle Oral Care Recycling Program. 5
Entries must be received by the Sponsors during the Promotion Period. Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

The School from Australia and the School from New Zealand which send in the largest shipment by weight during the Promotion Period will each win a prize. Total weight of entries from each Australian School will be determined at 3:30pm AEDT on 6 November 2017 at 305, 4-14 Buckingham Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010 by the Sponsor. Total weight of entries from each New Zealand School will be determined at 3.30pm on 7th November 2017 at 305, 4-14 Buckingham Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010, by the Sponsor, based on monthly reports of the weight of entries received by TerraCycle New Zealand Ltd. In the event that more than one School from the same country sends in the largest shipment by weight during the Promotion Period, the winning School will be the School with the largest shipment by weight that sends in the most individual pieces of Accepted Oral Care Waste.

This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be judged individually based on the weight of the total amount of Accepted Oral Care Waste shipments which the Sponsor has received from the School during the Promotion Period.

Winners will be notified by email on or before 23.59 AEDT on 15 November 2017.

There is a total of 1 x AU$1000 cash prize and 1 custom-made bench from recycled Accepted Oral Care Waste (“TerraCycle Recycled bench”) (RRP AU$[1,684.51]) to be won in Australia and 1 x NZ$1000 cash prize and 1 TerraCycle Recycled bench (RRP NZ$[1777.66]) to be won in New Zealand. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. The prizes will be delivered to the winning Schools within 3 months of the close of the Promotion Period. The cash prize will be sent to the winning Schools by the Promoter in the form of a cheque. The TerraCycle Recycled Bench will be delivered flat-packed to the winning Schools by TerraCycle.

Prizes are not transferable. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons reasonably beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various authorities.

Neither the Promoter nor the Sponsors assume any responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, or for any late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion.

The Promoter and the Sponsors reserve the right to request verification of identity and street address of winners and any other information from Schools relevant to entry into or participation in this Promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter and the Sponsors, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any School that provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Promotion.

purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. b) Schools consent to the Promoter using the school name, locality and the amount of Accepted Oral Care Waste collected by the School in any media (including but not limited to TV, social media, radio and press) without compensation for the purpose of publicity and promotion marketing. c) Schools must obtain signed permissions from parents/legal guardians of children depicted in any media conducted by the Sponsors or the Promoter in connection with the Promotion. 14
