CONNECTING with you Katie Moore Community Outreach Liaison-East Tennessee

In our continued mission to support and serve our lending partners, the CONNECT Team recently embarked on a Training the Trainer course to become certified to teach our continuing education class to REALTORS. Debbie Reeves, our Director, currently teaches the class and this training will enable us to teach it more often and to be available more frequently when not just REALTORS need training opportunities. We hope you already know we offer training opportunities when you need them, via monthly webinars and through office visits. You may have noticed in these monthly articles that CONNECT does a lot more than meeting with REALTORS and lenders. We spend a good portion of our time with media, elected officials, nonprofits and generally making ourselves available to communities. Right now, for instance, we’re in search of good homeowner stories since this is Homeownership Month! If you have a THDA bor r ower willing to shar e (and br ag on you!) please email [email protected]. So if CONNECT does all of that, where is the time to do one-on-one and staff trainings for lenders? Well I’m glad you asked! Last month you were introduced to our NEW Customer Account Managers (CAM). Our CONNECT Team is thrilled to have the additional support this team offers. You will continue to see us around, visiting with you and CONNECTING (get it?) you with THDA staff relationships as you have need. Both the CONNECT and the CAM teams will be working hard to provide excellent customer service to our THDA lending partners. If we can assist you in any way, please contact any of us individually or me at [email protected].

Welcome to HBEI Team Jayna Johnson Homebuyer Education Program Manager

Please join us in welcoming our newest Single Family staff member, Donna Neal. Donna joined our staff June 1st, as the Homebuyer Education Initiative Specialist. Prior to THDA, Donna was employed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she performed various job titles. She is new to the mortgage industry; however, her planning and organizational skills have already proven to be an asset to the Homebuyer Education team. Donna is active in her church, where she serves as the Director of Vacation Bible School. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband of 25 years and their 2 sons. Donna is very excited for this new chapter of her life and we are thrilled to welcome her to THDA.
