Wingate Invitational 3.25.2016 Meet Information FACILITY: Irwin Belk Track and Field Complex is an 8 lane, 400-meter track with stadium lights. SPIKES: FLATS or ¼” PYRAMID SPIKES ONLY ENTRIES: Entries will be done online at directathletics.com. Entries will be open until March 21st at 11:59pm. Individual event entries are unlimited. Two entries per relay per school. ENTRY FEE: $250 per gender. Unattached athletes are $20 per event. Payment is to be made by cash or check to “Wingate University Track & Field”. Entry fees are due at packet pick up. Packet pick-up will be located beside the football field next to the restrooms. CHECK-IN: All athletes in running events must check-in with the clerk no later than 60 min. prior to the start of the event. Field events will check in at their event site. Heat sheets/final schedule will be emailed and will be available in team packets the day of the meet. WARM-UP AREA: The warm-up area will be located adjacent to the track on the football practice field. This area will be closed for warm-ups during throws competition. The infield will be closed to all regular warmups until 3pm. At 3pm we ask that all warmups be moved to the infield. TEAM TENTS: No tents will be allowed on the infield. All team camps must be on the outside of the track across from the shotput area on the grass. WEIGH-INS: Weigh-ins will take place in the storage shed underneath the press box. Weigh in’s will take place from 8:30am-9:30am. SCHEDULE: See final schedule. PARKING: Buses will be allowed to drop off teams by the track. See Campus Map attached for parking instructions. All buses will park at the Batte Center after team drop off. Spectators will be directed to park in the gravel lot. MEDICAL: Wingate Trainers will be available on site. Water and ice will be made available throughout the meet. RESULTS: Results will be posted online at www.wingatebulldogs.com and tfrrs.org after the meet.
