WINTER RECREATION SKILLS CLINIC: We have scheduled our 3rd Annual DCFC REC Soccer Winter Skills Clinic beginning in November. The Clinic will take place again at 5 Tool Academy in Yorktown. This Program is for recreational soccer players ages 4 – 14. Players will be organized by level of play and experience. DCFC will provide players a chance to learn soccer and improve their current soccer skills while having FUN learning and working on their technical ball skills, close control, passing, dribbling and shooting. Whether your child has been participating in soccer already or is new to the sport and ready to begin learning basic fundamentals and skills, this clinic will provide the coaching and training for all levels. While we will be working on technical ball skills and player development from our experienced DCFC coaching staff, all who have either played soccer or are currently playing soccer, we strive to encourage a FUN atmosphere that continues to keep your players active during the Winter months. There will be 6 sessions beginning on Thursday, November 5th and ending on Thursday, December 17th. There will be no session during the week of Thanksgiving. There will be three practice times during each session beginning at 5:30 and ending at 9:00. Depending on enrollment and ages of participants the times by age will likely follow this schedule: 5:30 - 6:30 Ages 4 - 6 * 6:30 - 7:45 Ages 7-10 * 7:45 - 9:00 Ages 11 - 14 * * Subject to Change Please visit dcfcsoccer.org and register today. If you have any registration questions or comments, please email [email protected]

TRAVEL WINTER TRAINING STARTS : DCFC anticipated being able to offer a much larger winter training experience for our players this season and increased the price of the sessions to reflect that. However, after some changes with our anticipated indoor facilities, our programming remains similar in schedule and scope to the last few years and because of this we are making a great price change in your favor. All Travel Winter Training age groups will have the price reduced from $200 to $125. If you are on the full season plan you will get a $75 dollar credit on your account so you don't lose your discount for signing up for the yearly plan and if you already paid the $200 ala carte price you will be credited the difference as well. If you have not signed up yet, we encourage you to do so before the sessions fill up. Registration is open at dcfcsoccer.org.

TRAVEL UPDATES: Five DCFC teams invaded Cincinnati, Ohio to play in the Fall Ball Classic on Oct. 3-4. By the end of matches on Sunday, DCFC left with two tourney champions and a tourney runner up! DCFC Eleven (U11) coached by Davis Fox beat Cincinnati United Dynamo, Toledo Football Academy, and SP Soccer Academy in pool play before defeating Cincinnati United Lakota in the Silver division final. This is the second tournament win for our Eleven this season. Our 02 Stars (U14) coached by Austin Cook beat Indy Premier, FOSC, and Pride SC in pool play before beating Pride SC again in the final. This team only conceded 1 goal all weekend on their way to their first tourney championship this season. DCFC United (U12) coached by Ryan Duffy beat Paris YSA, lost to Belpre Fireballs in their bracket match, and beat FOSC in pool play to reach their final. They finished tourney runner up after giving Belpre Fireballs a tough rematch. Our two U10 teams that made the trip had great competition against teams from Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. It was a fun weekend and we want to be able to take all of our teams out of state in the spring season. Our DCFC Academy Girls ended their season by going 3-0 at the Halloween Classic Girls weekend on 10/24-25. Great job ladies and Coach Cailey Starck! DCFC Eleven continue to have a great season. They finished league play with a record of 7 wins, 1 draw, and no losses on the way to winning the Boys ISL 3rd Green division. The Eleven are the second DCFC team within 12 months to win a treble by winning two tournaments and a league championship in the same season. Wish them luck as they try for another tourney championship at the Halloween Classic!

REC SEASON SUMMARY:

ADULT LEAGUE FORMING NOW:

The REC season was a great one! We had over 550 players and awesome coaches. It takes everyone to make the program work. We are thankful for each one who coaches, assists, parents who bring snacks (and players), spectators, field liners, etc. A lot of volunteer hours and work goes into the program and many hands make light work!

The adult league fall session is coming to an end. We have had some great, fun-filled games throughout the season, which featured some spectacular evenings and minimal weather intrusions! We have played small sided 7 v 7 (including goalies) games, with teams featuring an array of skill, age, and ability that have facilitated growth among all members. We

encourage anyone in the Delaware and surrounding counties who have any inclination to participate in soccer or even those looking for any team experience to inquire (with Nile; [email protected]) about registering for the DCFC adult league. A new late fall (November 6- December 18) session is about to open, with 7 v 7 matches to be played on the Ball State University Turf Field on Friday evenings from 8-11pm!

If you registered for all year, then your spring registration has been received. We are working on transferring the players from the fall to spring module. If you are in this category, you will receive an email before spring registration opens.

BALL STATE WOMEN’S SOCCER

Our spring registration will open the second week of January. Please do not delay. There is a short time to get things accomplished, so we will not be taking late registrations. Also, some age groups may fill up quickly. Please mark your calendars as a reminder concerning spring registration.

Ball State Soccer team will be taking on a MAC opponent (tbd) in the MAC Quarterfinals on Sunday, November 1st at 1pm at the Briner Sports Complex.

The dates of the spring season are the week of April 11 – May 22. May 21 & 22 will be the World Cup Tournament for the U8 and up divisions, so the Memorial Day weekend will be free. This is a change from last season. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful club! We appreciate your support!

Go&Do CAMPAIGN With our latest initiative, we are looking for volunteers for the “DCFC Habitat for Humanity” build. THIS WILL BE INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!! CLICK HERE for more info. We are hoping for 10 volunteers from 9am to Noon and 10 volunteers for the Noon to 3pm shift on November 14, 2015! Additionally, we would love to have 5 volunteers interested in providing FOOD for the volunteers.

The team is currently 9-1 in the MAC, boasting more conference wins than any other team. BSU would love to have DCFC join them in cheering on the Cardinals on Sunday as they begin the MAC Tournament play!

If you feel led to help give back to the community, then please email [email protected] or [email protected]
