9102 Black Frames: Cut (5) 6-1/2” x WOF strips for outside borders. Black solid: Cut (5) 1-1/2” x WOF strips. Binding Fabric (176 Green): Cut (6) 2-1/2” x WOF strips, set aside.
CONSTRUCTING THE CENTER UNITS
First row:
MAKING HALF SQUARE TRIANGLE UNITS: Sew together (1) 4324 Gray Birch triangle (7-7/8” triangles cut once diagonally) and (1) 288 Brown Woodgrain triangle (7-7/8” triangles cut once diagonally) to form halfsquare triangle unit. Make 8 units. MAKING STAR POINT UNITS: Sew together the larger 4324 Gray Birch triangle (15-1/4” squares cut twice diagonally) and (2) 176 Green triangles (7-7/8” triangles cut once diagonally) to form a star point unit. Make (4) birch/green units. Repeat star point steps using larger 288 Gray Woodgrain triangles (15-1/4” squares cut twice diagonally) and 454 Brown Pinecone triangles (7-7/8” triangles cut once diagonally). Make (4) gray/brown units.
ASSEMBLING THE QUILT TOP Sew together the half-square triangles, star point units, 7-1/2” 9101 Blue Allover corner squares and fussy cut 9100 Black Panel squares to form center section of quilt top. Be sure to maintain orientation of the squares (scenes facing up).

Continue, following diagram on 1st page to complete 5 rows. Sew rows together to complete center section. INNER BLACK BORDER: Sew together 1-1/2” x WOF Black Solid strips to form long strip. Cut (2) 1-1/2” x 42-1/2” and (2) 1-1/2” x 44-1/2” border strips from long strip. Add 1-1/2” x 42-1/2” borders to sides of quilt top. Add 1-1/2” x 44-1/2” borders to top and bottom of quilt top. SCENIC BORDER: Sew together (6) 6-1/2” x WOF 9102 Black Large Scale Scenic strips to form long strip. Cut (2) 44-1/2” lengths and (2) 56-1/2” lengths. Add 6-1/2” x 44-1/2” 9102 Black Large Scale Scenic borders to sides of quilt top. Sew 6-1/2” x 56-1/2” b0rder strips to top and bottom of quilt top.
FINISHING THE QUILT Layer quilt top, batting and backing. Quilt as desired. Use 2-1/2” 176 Green strips to bind quilt.
