Secretary - Susan Webster Minutes from WLL annual board meeting on 3/9/17 - 7:00 PM held at South Woodstock Baptist Church Motion to approve, seconded and Majority approved. President – Mike Sampson  Team rosters/coaches published on website o Information can be found on the WLL website  Baseball scheduling meeting on 4/9 (Majors/Minors) o Managers please attend o Softball teams-town to 1 team in each division and are made up of all Woodstock players this year o T-ball scheduling is done  New Putnam LL President o CORI are a must and need to be completed each year on everyone that helps  WMS playground request o Crystal Adams from the PTO would like to have a table at Opening Day regarding the fundraiser they are holding for a WMS playground  Glenn Converse/Cutler Family o Would like suggestions from the Board on what improvements we would like  Suggestions from WLL Board  Picnic tables  New bleachers  Running water in concession stand o Suggestions made by Roseland Park Board  Signage on road  Stone patio  Tables/benches  Trees along road side  Fencing for batting cage  New awnings  Flowers planted  Woodstock Academy using Softball Field as theirs is under water o Coach to assist with WLL Softball with pitching Vice President – Matt Hebert Nothing to report Treasurer – Kim Evers  ~$22k in Bank Page |1

o Uniforms ordered but not paid for Fundraising Director – Pat O’Brien-not present  ~$5000 in business donations received  Spring Chance Fundraiser o Tickets will be available opening day Player Agents – John Evers Nothing to report Safety Officer – Jeff Marcotte  Possibly hold pitch hit and run same night as pictures 5/4/17  2017 Safety Plan Approved Building & Grounds – John Kallgren  Thank you note to be sent to Eagle Fencing for the gates  Should spend some money on reseeding field  John to ORDER CLAY -trucking expense is an issue  Work on Softball Bleachers over the next couple weeks  Spring projects (finish bullpens, resurface softball bleachers, paint concession stand interior)  Update on Batting Cage roof Information Officer/Marketing & P.R. Director – Randy Esposito Nothing to report Unfinished Business from March meeting  Equipment Inventory/Purchasing Needs o To be completed at field clean up on 4/8 New Business  Hot dog machine for concession stand  Coach’s meeting held last Monday all but one coach attended. That coach was unable to be of assistance so another coach was named.  Field Clean-up Day (Sat 4/8/, 8am-10am) o To Do:  Batting cage, L Screens, Zip tie signs, drag fields, paint yellow poles, dig up and reset home plate BBF, edge infield BBF, order new bases, brake away bases  Opening Day-any changes to last year’s format/schedule? o 9AM  Jr/Sr Baseball and Softball Registration Drive o 13-16yo, 16yo can not pitch o Look into 50/70 for next year o Towns playing  Thompson, Putnam, Mansfield, Moosup and Plainfield o 3 player signed up  WMS coach to mention to MS players  Softball field improvements o Bullpens behind concession stand Open Forum P age |2
