TURKEY
World Humanitarian Day, August 19, recognizes the dedication and sacrifices of humanitarian aid workers. Humanitarians include aid personnel working for local, international, or UN relief and development organizations providing humanitarian, development, or de-mining services. Others are local health workers, missionaries, and non-affiliated humanitarian volunteers.
