Walk to Work Week is a fun, free challenge organised by the national charity Living Streets. It’s not just about walking to work but also about finding ways to fit a bit more walking into your working day.

Fitting more walking into your working day is an easy way to increase your exercise levels without having to find the extra time or cash to go to the gym.

You don’t need special equipment, you can do it whenever you like and it’s an easy way to make sure you stay active even if your work is mostly desk-based.

It’s easy – just visit www.mylivingstreets.org.uk and register. Don’t forget to join your workplace group online, and use the site to record the walking that you do during the Week. We also have five challenges (see overleaf) to give you some ideas of how you could walk more during your working day.
