Sixth grade is an exciting year as students experience a variety of learning activities in a more departmentalized setting. One of the highlights is the authoring of a poetry journal with the opportunity to be published in a national publication. Sixth and seventh graders participate in an outdoor education experience every other year.

Students are always given some class time to begin homework. Homework is required to be completed independently and on time.
