Harry started playing soccer at the age of four, playing in the development programs for Leeds United Football Club and Bradford City, UK. He started playing for the Recreation Division at CASL when he moved to the United States at the age of six. He played for the U14 CASL Chelsea Pre- Academy team (2011/2012) under Michael Milazzo and was the captain for the CASL Chelsea Football Academy (2012/2013). Harry played ODP 2009 and 2010 where he was the first team captain for Region III. He was selected both years for the Alabama Region Camp. In July 2012, Harry tried out for English Premier League Academy team, Leicester City Football Club, with a tryout callback in England for two weeks in November 2012. He was also selected for the November id2 Camp in Frisco, Texas (2011) and from there went on to the id2 National Selection International Tour, in Spain 2012 where he joined a team of 24 nationally selected players to play against academy teams, such as FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Espanyol. In October 2013, he was invited to the US Soccer Training Center. One of Harry’s biggest coaching influences was his challenge coach, Sam Guemple, who he grew to know when he came over to America. "Although the challenge division wasn’t as competitive, he definitely made me realize my passion and love for soccer, and he was a big foundation in my soccer career. Another big influence of mine was Michael Milazzo. He had a big influence on me mentally both on and off the field. I definitely owe a lot of my development to him:, says Harry. Some of Harry’s highlights as a player have been selection into the 2012 ID2 team and going on the tour of Spain was a great opportunity to play against tough Spanish academy teams. Winning against FC Barcelona gave a huge stamp of approval to the US player development program. In addition, traveling to Brazil this past year with the team was an unforgettable experience. Staying at Deportivo Football Academy in São Paulo and playing phenomenal opponents, such as Fluminese FC and Corinthians B, was truly memorable. Harry’s goals for his Academy Team this year are to make Play-offs and be nationally ranked in the top 10. "Our team needs to not only win the league and make the Academy Playoffs but to make it to National Finals Week. With effective communication, determination and hard work, this is completely achievable,” says Harry. On the Capital Area RailHawks, "Playing for the RailHawks is a privilege I do not take for granted. I consider myself to be incredibly fortunate to be in such a unique position, and I make the most of every opportunity afforded to me. The coaching and facilities make for a first class experience. Access to some of the top coaches in the area gives us every chance of success.” Best of luck to Harry this year and the U15/16 Capital Area RailHawks Academy Team.
