GCE AS Results Elstree UTC is proud to report that its incredible opening year has ended with some excellent AS examination results. There have been some truly impressive achievements with 25% of all grades being A and B. Some specific stand out stories include Lauren who achieved 3 As and a B, Rory who gained 2 As and B and Toby and Katharine who achieved an A and 2 Bs. These students surpassed expectation and in many cases beat their targets by 2 clear grades. These particular cases studies are commendable amidst many pleasing results. Congratulations to Elstree students who have achieved beyond their targets and fulfilled their potential. When it comes to the college specialism we have seen, 100% pass rates in English Literature, Creative Writing, Art and Design, Photography, and Creative Media Arts. There is still much more to do and we are thrilled with the high caliber of new teaching staff and support professionals joining us in September. The college has also undergone further development with scores of new computers and specialist equipment. All this will further ensure that exam results and learning opportunities at Elstree UTC strengthen even further as our college grows and more students join. These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff. They are an outward demonstration of our aspirations for professionalism and excellence. Students who work hard will leave Elstree UTC with an excellent academic record and a professional portfolio which will demonstrate the life skills which employers are searching for. Along with our fabulous results a large number of our students are engaged in paid work experience as they have proved themselves invaluable to our industry partners. An amazing end to a whirlwind first year… Year 2 starts in 17 days…
