Xtra-Bases Baseball camp is an instructional camp lead by the Franklin Township Baseball League coach & board member Dave Hameier and Rutgers Prep Varsity Baseball coach Larry Santowasso. Xtra-Bases Baseball Camp is based on teaching and improving all-around skills that cover all aspects of baseball and making the camper an all-around baseball player. Infield skills and technique Outfield skills and technique Hitting skills Pitching & Catching clinics Proper stretching & exercise Base running skills & drills Overall skills assessment with ranks for age group Items to bring to camp: Baseball attire (pants, hat cleats or spikes and sneakers) Baseball Glove, Bat & Helmet Catchers Gear (if you are a catcher) Water Bottle Sun Screen Camp Schedule: 9:00-9:30 – Stretch and Throw 9:30-9:40 – Water Break 9:40-10:20- Skills & Drills 10:20-10:30- Water Break 10:30- 11:10- Skills & Drills 11:10-11:20- Water Break 11:20-12:00- Fun Baseball Activity 12:00-12:45- Lunch 12:45-1:10- Throw 1:10-2:40- Baseball game 2:40-3:00- End of Day Activity NEW: Lunch will be provided daily for all campers in Rutgers Prep cafeteria.
