Dear Parent/Carer
As part of the “Angry Earth” Inspire topic delivered in the Year 6 curriculum at Edward Peake CofE (VC) Middle School, Year 6 will be going on a short fieldtrip to Tempsford on Wednesday 25 th March 2015. The purpose of 1. 2. 3.
this trip is to: Investigate how the Great Ouse is been managed. Make accurate field observations. Explore the processes which operate within the rivers.
The year group will be split into two groups for this trip: am – 6ST and 6TU pm – 6MD and 6JD (pupils will be back in school by 15:20) Pupils will need 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
to bring the following: Wellington boots or walking boots or old trainers and a carrier bag to carry them, Waterproof coat and hat, An old pair of trousers to change into at school before the trip. A fully equipped pencil case A clipboard (if available) A camera (optional) Any travel medication (20/25 minute coach trip).
We would appreciate a contribution of £3 per child which will cover the cost of transporting pupils to and from the school. Please make cheques payable to the school. The deadline for payment is Friday 21st March 2015. Please complete the attached reply slip below outlining any medical needs or allergies.
